Traditional SchoolsTraditional schools offer the best of public and private school systems by offering a structured approach to instruction, clearly defined standards for behaviour and academic achievement, and a dress code. Career Technical Centre (CTC)The CTC allows you to combine the last two years of your secondary studies with work toward a tuition-free post-secondary certificate. Programs offered include: Automotive, Carpentry, CIS – Web Design, Culinary Arts, Drafting, Electrical, Hair Design, Health & Human Services and Welder/Fitter 1. Sports AcademiesIn a Sports Academy, you can focus on a particular sport in addition to academics. The time you spend practicing your sport during school hours counts as your PE and elective credit, and you spend the remainder of your studies attending regular classes alongside your Canadian schoolmates. This is a good option if you’re interested in pursuing sports professionally. For the 2011/2012 year, we will be offering soccer, golf, hockey, baseball, and more. French ImmersionSeveral Abbotsford schools offer French Immersion, which means your entire academic experience is in French.
