Abbotsford Middle School offers an international student buddy program to help you feel more comfortable as you study in Canada. You can also learn more about life in Canada by going on various educational field trips with classmates throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.
Abbotsford Traditional Middle School teaches the same curriculum as other middle schools, but with emphasis on consistent instruction, standards of academic achievement and behaviour. Students must also wear uniforms.
International students can study a combination of academics and arts as they learn English as a second language at Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts. Students take a rotation of Drama, Music, Visual Arts and Dance with special instructors. The school also features a piano lab.
Chief Dan George Middle School offers French Immersion and one of the largest band programs in the province of British Columbia (including both middle schools and secondary schools).
Students at Clayburn Middle School who are musically inclined may choose to get involved in the School Band, Jazz Band or Choir. There is also a Student Leadership program.
Specialty programs at Colleen and Gordie Howe Middle School include the Gifted Program, Social Development Program, Choir and Band.
Eugene Reimer Middle School has been recognized on a provincial level for its Choir and Band performance. Fine Arts offerings at the school include Beginning Band, Advanced Band, Choir, Visual Arts and Performing Arts. A Gifted Program is also offered.
William A. Fraser Middle School is divided into ‘Houses’, or groups of students in all grades, in order to provide a close school community.
